The recent E3 press conference gave gamers, like myself, the chance to have a glimpse of new games that are set to be released. That also saw head of Xbox, Phil Spencer reveal that they are currently working on their next generation console which could be set to be released in 2020.
The world of gaming has slowly evolved over the years, with gamers being able to experience new innovations and features designed to enhance their gaming experience. Both PlayStation and Xbox have released numerous updates of their consoles over the last few years; Xbox with a few more updates than Sony's PlayStation.
Virtual Reality headsets have been introduced to gamers, so they can have that virtual gaming experience they have always wanted.
Playstation released their fourth console in 2014 and with Xbox releasing the One X last November, gamers are wondering when their successors will be released. Growing up, my favourite memory of a new console being released was in 2000, when the PlayStation 2 was released. The design was great, the new features it had including being able to watch DVD's was amazing at the time.
For gamers, the potential release of the next gen consoles is set to be a very exciting time. What could the futre hold?
