Sony revealed the PlayStation 5 logo for the first time, during the CES 2020 press conference.
2020 is sure to be an exciting time for gamers, as the constant innovations designed to enhance user experience become more exciting! Sony announced that the PlayStation 5 will be released towards the end of this year, which left many in wait to find out further news before its release.
Images of the PlayStation were released in late 2019, as they went for more creative design. During the CES 2020 press conference, which took place on Monday evening, Sony revealed the long-awaited PlayStation 5 logo. The design does not differ from previous versions, except, of course, the number.
During the press conference, Sony announced that it had sold more than 5 million Virtual Reality Headsets since they launched the device in October 2016. Additionally, they announced that they sold 104 million PS4 units, which officially makes it the second-best-selling video game console in history behind the PS2. The PS2 has a lifetime sales record of 158 million units, making it highly likely that the PS4 won’t catch up before the PS5 launches.
Now PlayStation fans wait for more news upon the release in the fall of 2020.
