Owen Peterson has joined Blu Digital as our newest Recruitment Consultant! We sat down with our newest recruit to find out more about his career backgrouund, biggest achievement and his very interesting hobbies - he's also a twin! Read our Q&A below: 

Tell us a bit about yourself, Owen

My professional background has mainly retail, working in multiple businesses over the last few years. I'm a lover of challenge, change, and growth opportunity, constantly looking to better myself in whatever I do.

I go to the gym regularly, can't go a week without seeing family and friends, unless I'm going abroad, love to read and spend time outdoors in the Lake District and surrounding areas. 100% addicted to caffeine and I am an identical Twin so if you know me and ever see me and I don't smile or wave, it's likely not me. 

Do you have any hidden talents?

I'm a lyricist and have performed at live events with my twin a few years ago - can rattle off the alphabet backwards (not exactly a talent, but once got me a free drink at a Christmas party). 

What's your biggest strength?

I'd say self motivation, I find that I'm great at talking myself into perseverance when curveballs are thrown my way. Step back, reflect, move forwards.

What's the best piece of advice you have received?

In life nobody will take your steps for you, it is down to you to move forwards, you can do anything you put your mind too. So just take the steps. 

Where did you go on your last holiday?

Isle of Skye, beautiful island of the coast of Scotland, amazing and moody weather with a rich history behind it, would fully recommend a visit. 

Do you have any hobbies?

I love the gym and writing songs from time to time, hiking whenever I get the chance!

What's your best achievement?

Learning to drive! Game changer. 

Which TV series are you binge-watching at the moment? Or what's the last movie you watched?

I must have watched rick and Morty at least 7 times by now! 

If you could be a TV/movie character for a day, who would you be?

The Doctor (Doctor Who) near immortal, infinitely genius, owns a time machine, only uses these things for good.
