Digital marketers bid to invest in marketing took a hit during the past year; due to the outbreak of Covid-19. However, they have not given up hope and gatherings from Appetite Creative Solutions, has revealed that B2B marketing is very much still a part of marketers’ future plans.
Appetite Creative Solutions conducted their first-ever B2B marketing survey; and the results revealed that an overwhelming 82% of respondents consider B2B marketing as a “vital” part of bringing in new business in the future.
Considering the disruption that Covid-19 has caused, over two thirds of marketers (65%) do plan to increase investment in B2B marketing in in 2021.
Many UK businesses were somewhat forced to asses and adjust their marketing strategy, based on consumers behaviour; and 62% of respondents plan to refresh their B2B marketing strategy in 2021. 82% considered B2B digital marketing as a new business driver.
Marketing professionals are also considering the different channels that would be valuable for B2B marketing – findings found:
Branding and social media are at the forefront of marketing plans in 2021. Marketers are looking at video (61%), social media (61%), website revamp (57%) and a branding refresh (43%). 19% of respondents are willing to pay over £30,000 for a website refresh.
