Since its inception, ChatGPT has enhanced users’ approach to search and digital conversation. The popular chatbot has become a go-to platform for millions when driving search queries; and has grown in influence when it comes to assisting with digital and marketing strategies. With 400 million weekly users, it is predicted to reach 1 billion users by the end of 2025, according to Brad Lightcap, OpenAI's Chief Operating Officer.
According to OpenAI, the number of their business users has now reached 3 million. Driving this change has been the introduction of new features for its business products. These new features include:
* Deep Research can now search across GitHub, Google Docs, Gmail, Calendar, Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, HubSpot, Dropbox, Box, and more.
* Users can connect any chat to Google Docs, SharePoint, Dropbox, and Box
* An initial version of MCP support! HubSpot is implemented via MCP.
* Record mode in ChatGPT: capture, transcribe, and summarize meetings straight into ChatGPT. Structured output and a full transcript with timestamps.
* SSO for ChatGPT Team
* Credit-based pricing for ChatGPT Enterprise (and soon Team) so everyone has access to our most advanced features.
According to The Verge, these feature updates are all part of OpenAI’s push to corner the market on enterprise AI clients, which are big spenders,".
