Katy Curran is the newest member of the Blu Digital team! We sat down with our new recruit to find out more about her background, her hobbies and which TV character she'd play for a day.

Tell us a bit about yourself, Katy

I am a 23 year old Psychology graduate from Bangor University. I love the Outdoors, Swimming, Travelling and Live music.

Tell us about your most memorable achievement?

I think  travelling by myself. I went to Germany, Milan, Sicily and Ireland. It was fantastic the 2 weeks in Sicily has to be the highlight the food, history and culture out there is amazing. Such relaxed and happy people I feel us English can learn a few things from them.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Drawing and cooking. My speciality has to be Italian food; I make next level Carbonara in 10 different ways. I cannot however bake as i find is impossible to follow a recipe 

What's the best piece of advice you have received?

You regret not doing things more than doing them.

Where did you go on your last holiday?

I went to Croatia the summer before lockdown to Tisno for a Drum and Bass festival with all my closest friends. I would indeed as soon as things are open again 

Do you have any hobbies?

I'd say my hobby is attending live events.  I go to a couple of festivals a year (normally). I am a fan of Rap, Hiphop, RnB, Classic Rock and Drum and Bass. The best act i've ever seen was Chase and Status 

Which TV series are you binge-watching at the moment?

Ben Fogle; Into the Wild - What's great about it? Intriguing? Storyline? I love what a great story teller Ben Fogle is and his passion for people. He meets interesting people from all over the world that attempt to live of the fat of the land. Often people that have given up the norms of modern day society and want to live more independently and remotely.  

If you could be a TV/movie character for a day, who would you be?

Albus Dumbledore. I love how he a busk of knowledge that he deals out in riddles, ultimate knowledge is power; I would want to be him because he gets to meet so many important and interesting people enabling him to help save the world. Also how good would it be in live in the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter.
