Vodafone and BT announce job cuts

Telecommunication giants Vodafone and BT have recently announced significant job cuts by the end of the decade.

Similarly, BT, a prominent player in the telecommunications industry, has also announced a restructuring plan that involves job cuts. They plan to cut up to 55,000 jobs including contractors by 2030 - potentially over 40% of its workforce as it completes its fibre roll-out and adapts to new technologies such as AI.
