Web Manager - Travel
London

My client, an established travel company, is looking for a Website Manager to take their user experience to the next level, improving site performance, and collaborating closely with marketing and other business teams.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the website, ensuring a best-in-category user experience. This includes troubleshooting technical issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing swift solutions. Utilising insights from user behaviour analysis tools, you will improve navigation, user satisfaction, and conversion rates. Your role involves creating and managing project roadmaps, setting milestones, and tracking progress using project management tools. You will communicate and collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to provide technical insights and cohesive strategies. Additionally, you will implement SEO best practices, conduct regular audits, ensure adherence to search engine guidelines, analyse website performance data to identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Continuous optimisation of website performance and user engagement through regular CRO assessments is also a key responsibility.

Ideally, you will have experience as an Umbraco superuser and a proven background in web development and performance optimisation. Proficiency in web analysis tools, understanding user behaviour and user-centric design principles and effective project management skills are essential. Strong communication and collaboration abilities and a passion for SEO with experience in briefing media and/or SEO agencies are required. Strong problem-solving skills, an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JS, and a background in the travel, leisure, or hospitality industry would be advantageous.
