Accepting A Job Offer

A job offer is great news for candidates; however there are still things to consider. For some candidates, they have received their ideal opportunity, but for some, there are still things to way-up before making a decision.

There are a few things to consider for all candidates before making a decision.

Is it the right offer?  - Think about it and provide the hiring manager with a time frame and stick to it. Don't leave it for too long as they may feel you're no longer interested. Consult with family and friends, or maybe even your recruiter if you need to.

Check Over The Requirements – It’s a good idea to go back over the requirements of the role and make sure you are content with the role as it is presented.

Get Everything In Writing - Make sure you read through your offer details thoroughly and confirm everything via email or a letter.

Express Your Excitement - Be sure to show your excitement for the position to the hiring manager to further underline that they have made the right decision.

These are only a few of the things to do once you have received an offer. On the flip side, you may feel the job isn’t the right fit for you which is fine.
